The Bookstore is Open First Sunday of the Month

Beginning Feb. 7th we will have a bookstore stocked with new books and CDs for sale.  The bookstore will be open the first Sunday of each month.

You are invited to stop by, check out our books and CDs for sale or take advantage of our 'Read & Recycle' program.  With 'Read & Recycle' you find a used book, take it home and read it then return it (you can keep it if you really liked it).

The bookstore will only be able to accept cash or checks.

Women's Retreat

Our retreat will be held at the beautiful, peaceful Round Top Retreat Center (www.roundtopretreat.org) in Round Top, Texas about 90 minutes drive from Katy, TX, not far from La Grange.

Our guest speaker, Lana Sanders, is a dynamic speaker who leads Beauty for Ashes Ministry, Intl.  Lana is a published author of pro-life resources, a journal series, leads a Bible study fellowship called "Feed My Sheep”, and speaks at conferences and retreats across America.

Retreat Fees:   Early registration fee is $135 and ends March 31, 2010. From April 1st to April 15th, the registration fee will be $150 if any spaces are still available. 

We can only accommodate 30 women comfortably, so register early!

Registration includes 5 meals, 2 nights’ lodging and retreat festivities.  Katy Vineyard women will have first opportunity to register; after March 23rd, registration will be open to other women. Deposit of $90 is due at time of registration to hold your place. Balance is due by April 15, 2010. Sorry, no refunds.

Please note:  You will need to bring your own linens and towels.  We will let you know if you need to bring sheets for a twin, full, queen, or king size bed after room assignments have been made. If you have any concerns about sharing a bed with a sister in Christ, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your request.  Maps and further details on what to bring will be furnished after registration.

Recall the hurt, Empathize with the person, Altruistic gift of forgiveness, Commit publicly to forgive, Hold on to forgiveness

R.E.A.C.H. Group is a follow-up class to our Power of Forgiveness Sermon Series. The exercises and teachings in this class were pioneered by a Christian counselor named Everett Worthington, Jr.  He is a professor of psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University and has been specializing (for twenty years) in the process of forgiveness.  Keith Boudreaux will be leading this class.
