Geoff Bynum

Geoff leads the Vineyard Church in Katy serving as the Pastor. He spent 2001 - 2006 on staff at the Vineyard Church in Sugar Land, Texas as an Associate Pastor over Marriage & Family, Mercy Ministries and Connecting / Enfolding. Geoff graduated from Vineyard Leadership Institute in 2003, Vineyard USA’s two year theological and ministry training school. 

Geoff received his bachelors degree in Communications from Sam Houston State University in 1987. He spent 3 years in television and radio broadcasting and production. The next 11 years were spent in marketing, sales and management primarily in the healthcare field. 

Geoff’s greatest passion after faith, family and friends is riding his ‘99 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100 on the back roads of Texas or anywhere else he can find.

D’Anne Bynum

D’Anne serves as the Children’s Ministry Director. D’Anne has served in numerous capacities in the Clear Lake and Sugar Land Vineyard Churches, including leading and hosting Home Groups, Children’s Ministry, Hospitality and Outreach. 

D’Anne graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors in Journalism in 1985. She has worked as a pre-school and substitute teacher since 2001. Before her own kids came along, she worked full time in advertising and television news in Houston. 

D’Anne enjoys going to the beach, hiking & biking, reading, working in the yard and spending time with her family. Geoff and D’Anne are the proud parents of 4 daughters; Brooke (15), Lindsey (13), Jamie (11) and Rachel (9).

Scott Riley

Scott has served as the Music Ministry and Audio / Visual Director of the Vineyard Church in Katy since 2006 and has been affiliated with the Vineyard Church since 2004. He has been involved with sound engineering, multimedia, and music in the church for more than 9 years. 

Scott is passionate about worshipping God through creative expression and loves to fiddle with all things musical, vintage keys, guitar, percussion, and even Irish bagpipes! When not playing music or working, you might find Scott flying giant kites at the beach, riding his '97 Honda Shadow A.C.E. 1100 motorcycle or experimenting with enology in his kitchen.

Scott received his Bachelors degree in chemistry from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA in 1997 and completed his doctorate in physical chemistry at the University of California in Davis in 2002. He currently works in Houston as a research scientist in the field of scientific and medical technology.
